KreaKids studio

Creative and challenging, with real wow factor:
the new KreaKids collection uses origami techniques.

KreaKids Studio.

Encouraging great young talents.

When the next generation picks up paper and pencil, or needle and thread, the grown-ups can only look on in wonder. Whether they’re creating men’s or children’s collections, lamps or chairs – in Romania’s KreaKids Studio, fantastic fashion and homewares are really making an impact. The studio has been operating since 2011, with up to 60 children between the ages of 4 and 18 supervised by professional designers. Also on board: the M-Fashion production companies, which are supporting these young Romanian artists, getting them thinking about a creative career and providing them with meaningful prospects for the future. That’s why M-Fashion puts space and materials at their disposal, hires designers and cutters and helps organise courses and fashion shows.

KreaKids have already staged several fashion shows, as far away as Budapest. And KreaKids plans to grow even more in the future. Next year there will be not just an international design competition, but KreaKids will also get the chance to collaborate with the Moholy Nagy Art University in Budapest.

Here, the KreaKids design fashion and homewares

The winner of this year’s design competition
is 12-year-old Mathe Balazs.
